Sakura Buffet in Auburn

I love it there and I love to bring my family and friends there because of the different types of food there

Cozy. Free wifi. Fast service. Good food.

Really bad. Even the food coming out of the kitchen to replace the dried out "food" in the steam trays was brown and desiccated. Pepper steak, general tso, seafood family, all of them indistinguishable from each other. Mushy bits of sodium infused detritus served up in a wholly unappetizing goo that varied in color depending on the label of the dish. Naturally, they only bothered to label every other dish. Why go to the trouble? As I mentioned earlier.. it all tastes the same: horrifying. Save yourself some coin and simply go dumpster diving. Better yet.. head out to route 34 and see if you can't find a fresh road platter. These options, while perhaps less appealing, would undoubtedly be better tasting and more adequately meet your nutritional requirements. This app forced me to give the review 1 star.

Its ok nothing special.. Cheap decent food and plenty of it.

The service here is friendly and efficient. The bathroom was very clean when I visited. The freshness and quality of the food, especially the surprising quality of the sushi, was a real surprise. My wife, her maid of honor, and myself all ate here for an excellent price and had good digestion afterwards. This is the best buffet experience I have had at an oriental restaurant. It reminds me of the quality of the Old Country Buffet. Excellent. Very affordable price,

Food was decent, service was great and the price very reasonable. My only complaint is the cleanliness. Restaurant was about a 3 out 5 for cleanliness and the restroom was about a 1 out of 5, extremely gross bathroom.

Not good at all. Not worth the money. There was shrimp in the chicken dish- dangerous. Shrimp not cleaned properly. And questionable seafood salad. When brought to staff's attention, they did nothing. Very sad.

The quality of the food was improved from last visit. Good selection, selections updated frequently, lots of choices for whole family. Great bargain.

Service are generally quick and accommodating.Food is 95% of the time fresh and consistent quality from day to day. Other 5% of the time they give you a heads up on quality maybe going down since they stop cooking after a certain time(near closing)Buffet food/selection are excellent, they don't keep the same food on a daily basis, they switch up the least popular items with new things for people to try on a daily basis, Food quality beats out any other buffet in the area.Sushi can be hit or miss depending on how overloaded they are with customers but generally the sushi is average.Staff are ALWAYS moving, always cleaning something or helping customers to their table. Their speed is unmatched compared to other buffets in the area.

One of my favorite places to eat. Reasonably priced, lots of seating and tons of parking. The waitresses are always on top of cleaning dishes off the tables.

Always fresh and hot food. The waitress was very attentive.

Love the variety of food they have to offer. Way better than places in Florida. No wierd surprises and the price is perfect for two. If you want to stuff your face without being rushed and try all different kinds of food then this is the place. Loved every second of my visit. Yummy!!!!

This is my favorite Chinese buffet. Also has a limited sushi selection!

Great food, super fresh friendly staff

Internet add implies that this place is a Japanese restaurant when in fact, it is a typical "Asian" greasy buffet. If you like this type of dining experience, this place is as good as any. If you are horribly constipated, and need a good cathartic, then please by all means, knock yourself out and eat here.

I am beyond appalled, i got the buffet take out and get back to my job to find seafood cross contaminated mac and cheese i am allergic to seafood. I call the buffet to tell them and i am told its common practice to put new food in a previously used pan. Kind of scary considering how sick i could have gotten i will not be back

They just recently added sushi if you like that stuff. The staff is super friendly too. Good discounts after 9pm for carry out.

It's not a bad place if you want Chinese buffet

They didn't understand what we wanted for the grill. They tried. Choices are chicken, shrimp, or beef. Husband likes to add tons of fresh vegetables and pineapple and they aren't technically available. Other choices plentiful though.

They had like no food out and did not taste good

Good Fri buffet. The usual assortment of foods.. Only half of it having anything to do with Chinese food, but that's too be expected. Great sushi bar though. Not California Rolling or anything but still.. Unlimited! Pretty clean facilities, and a cordial staff.

The food is always fresh and hot (not to mention delicious!). The restaurant is clean and the staff is so friendly!

Your first clue should be the Little Debbie Swiss Rolls as part of the dessert offerings. Crab Rangoon and stuffed mushrooms both share the same filling that is so sweet and crab free that it tastes like hot cheesecake.

Alright. Vegetable fried rice could have been fresher. It was on the stale side. Everything else was fine. :) Roach free food

Good service, nice staff, and very solid food especially for a buffet. Similar amount and quality is generally going to be close to double the price easily at a take-out spot. Plus, Sakura offers takeout buffet, so it works for any purpose. Also worth noting: selection here is good, but not excessive. Dishes are hot and fresh and never seem to have been sitting out due to option overwhelm. Well worth stopping in!

Food was great. Not a whole lot of options, but everything was good. The place is extremely clean, more than most buffets. Staff were courteous too.
